Diskward is designed to inspect your Mac without turning your storage into someone else’s dataset.
The macOS app
The app has no analytics, accounts, advertising SDKs, crash-reporting service or background network requests. Scans, file names and process lists stay on your Mac.
Diskward stores the last scan, cleanup history and preferences locally. A pnpm migration can access the network only after you explicitly start it.
The website
The website offers optional Google Analytics to understand aggregate visits. Analytics loads only after you choose Allow. Choosing Not now stores that preference locally and sends nothing to Google.
Paid supporter options open Stripe Checkout. Stripe processes payment and billing details under its own privacy policy; Diskward’s website does not receive or store card numbers. Download links lead to GitHub, which applies its own privacy policy.
